The Revival of The Delphic Idea 
A great Poet and Mystic. Angelos Sikelianos. One of the last of a generation of the most important scholars of Hellas since the indepedence of 1821. Amongst many things and works in his life time, one of them was "The Revival of The Delphic Idea". The Delphic fests that took place in Delphi in the end of the 1920/Early 1930. Including lectures, reenactments, theatre performances e.t.c. in their original Ancient place.

Club presentation
In 2010, Dobrich Bulgaria was established the club for Roman historical reenactments ASSOCIATION FOR HISTORICAL RECONSTRUCTION RE-ENACTMENT-SCYTIA MINOR-IV LEGION SCYTHICA named on historical Legio IIII Scythica present here during the first century AD the territory of the Roman province of Scythia Minor (modern Dobruja).
Our purposes
The club is active in re-enacting and historical restorations.
The activities of our club is aimed at the restoration of our events from ancient Roman history and reconstruction of events relating to at least our glorious ancient past.
We from "ASSOCIATION FOR HISTORICAL RECONSTRUCTION RE-ENACTMENT-SCYTIA MINOR-IV LEGION SCYTHICA" can help to attractive running of future projects related to the ancient history.
Our participation
In Alba Iulia Romania was held Roman Festival Apulum 2015 1,2,3/05/ 2015.
This festival is a traditional event which involved some of the groups who are prepared in Rome and connected to this historical period re-enacting groups in Eastern Europe.
Gladiator Club MARCIANOPOLIS in Roman Festival Apulum 2015.
We demonstrate in front of the audience some of our gladiator’s stage battles including: Thraex, Retiarius, Secutor, Dimachaerus, SCISSOR, Hoplomachus and Murmillo.

Tomis Ancient Festival 29 tо 31 August 2014
For the third year in Constance was held Tomis Ancient Festival 29 то 31 August 2014, for which we also received an invitation and successfully presented our Bulgarian re-enacting ancient society. The most attractive parts was triumphant march of the participants in the central streets of Constanta and Mamaia resort, the battles that take place in different scenarios.
Nicopolis ad Nestrum Antique Festival 2 of November 2013
For the first time in the Southwest Bulgaria,in the municipality of Garmen was organized Nicopolis ad Nestrum Antique Festival 02. of November 2013.There is tends this festival to become a traditional event which involved groups who are prepared in Roman historical period and connected to this reenacting groups from Eastern Europe. This is a festival on which was demonstrated by the participating groups warfare and equipment, lifestyle and handicrafts of Romans. The festival was conducted with international participants, since and 10 people from our neighboring Constanta joined us.
Tomis Ancient Festival 16th to 18th August 2013.

Kabyle-Yambol. Our event was on June 15. 2013, "Fair tourist entertainment and animation."
The event was held at the National Archaeological Reserve Kabyle Yambol.

Natale di Roma 2013
Our participation at the festival “Natale di Roma2013” was very successful and associated with many pleasant emotions!
I (as a president of our club) was able to organize 48 people and bring them to the festival in Rome! For the Glory of the Roman Empire!
On this festival in Rome our group was internationally.

I guess you'll be interested to see short films from historical reenactments in which we participated in Bulgaria. where we demonstrated an Legionnaires oath parade and meeting the Emperor Septimius Severus during his visit to the ancient city of Augusta Traiana (present Stara Zagora).

"Enemy in front of the of the city gates " (23-24 June 2011). June 2011 where we recreated the battle of Emperor Trajan Decius and the Goths on 251 in the vicinity of the ancient Abrit. (present Razgrad).
SATVRNALIA In DOBRICH
In Dobrich on 22 December evening for fans of Ancient Roman History was organized celebration SATVRNALIA. The event was organized by our club ASSOCIATION FOR HISTORICAL RECONSTRUCTION RE-ENACTMENT-SCYTIA MINOR-IV LEGION SCYTHICA.
Civilian clothes used by us were Roman togas tunics. Everyone prepare something for the cultural program verse or quote from an ancient author. Host surprised us with a menu full of typical ancient Roman cuisine. Event was resounded by ancient music.
Saturnalia (lat.Saturnalia) - the ancient Romans was celebration in honor of Saturn.
Take place in the second half of December.

Short history of the Legion
The emblem of Legio IIII Scythica was the Capricorn. LEG IIII Scythica was formed by Mark Antony in 42 BC. The country north of the Danube was not the only area inhabited by tribes that were named by the collective name of the Scythae. The area between the river and the sea had been penetrated by Scythians so that this area, the today's Dobrudia, was called (Greek -Μικρά Σκυθία) Scythia Minor. Here lived Scythians, the nomadic tribes who lived in the neighborhood of the Roman city Olbia but occasionally came to the south and tried to cross the Danube. Possibly IIII Scythica was the legion which was transported around the year 12 CE under guidance of its legate Vitellius, down the Danube by ship, in order to protect the threatened places of this area (Aegissos) and the Greek cities at the Pontus.
Legio IIII Scythica was Formed at the time of the consul C.Vibivs Pansa in 29-27 BC.Participated in the military contingent of Marcus Licinius Crassus, who in 29-28 BC began its offensive in Macedonia to the east – northeast. Between 6 and 9, the legion, along with Legion XX Valeria Victriks and V Macedonica . Legion participated in the conquest of Pannonia and Dalmatia, then XX Legion went to the Rhine, and IV and V Scythian Legion Legion Macedonians remained in Moesia. No doubt he was involved in military operations in the Danube delta and has done successfully several battles with local tribes inhabited that part of the modern today Dobrudja from where he received his name "Scythica".
Probably was placed in Escvs or Ratciaria joined forces together with V Macedonica.
Among those who served in the legion was a young man named Titus Flavius Vespasianus, who is better known as the emperor Vespasian.
By indication of Tacitus, a transfer of IIII Scythica to the Rhine has been assumed in many cases to have occurred at the beginning of the reign of Claudius to reinforce the oriental army(Tac. ann. XIII 35). IIII Scythica is first testified as in occupation in Moesia by inscriptions in 33 CE, when this area was organized as a province, replacing the previous Macedonian military command, by Tiberius in the beginning of his government.
